Non-Surgical Face Lifts

Everyone wants to look good for their age and no matter

whether the fine lines on your face are caused by smiling,

frowning, squinting or laughing a non surgical face

lift could be the key to a more youthful and appealing look.

We can offer facial rejuvenation by means of botox or fillers.

It may seem strange to have your cosmetic treatments at

your dental practice rather than a beauty salon but many

specialists argue that dentists are the best people to

administer this procedure.  Dentists administer hundreds of

injections for local anaesthetic therefore have an experienced

and refined technique.

Botox

What is Botox?

Botox, short for Botulinum toxin, is a naturally-occurring toxin produced by the bacteria

Clostridium botulinum. First used in the 1980’s to treat disorders of muscle spasms it is now an

approved cosmetic treatment for facial rejuvenation. In fact, it is now the most popular cosmetic

treatment in America. The popularity of botox is no doubt attributable to the ease and quickness

of use. The procedure is quick, painless and the results are excellent.

What is Botox used for?

Botox is commonly used for expression lines such as “crow’s feet” and forehead frown lines.

How is the procedure carried out?

Botox is administered in tiny amounts by an ultra-fine needle into the facial muscles that cause

expression lines. Botox works by blocking the nerve signal to these muscles, thereby freezing them.

Treatment takes about 10 minutes.

The results

Within 2-3 days you may see a marked improvement in your frown lines and you will attain the

maximum result after one month. The results from treatment will last up to 6 months so regular

visits are required for a wrinkle-free look.

Dermal Fillers

What are dermal fillers?

There are many fillers on the market but we use the hyaluronic acid-based filler, hydrafill

and the dermal filler, Laresse, depending on the type of correction required.

What are fillers used for?

Dermal fillers are used for lip enhancement, wrinkle correction, smile lines, deep folds, and

smoking lines.

How is the treatment carried out?

Fillers that are injected into the skin with an ultra-fine needle lift and add volume to the area being

treated. Fillers act to supplement the body’s skin by replacing hyaluronic acid that is depleted with

aging. The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes and you will be given dental anaesthetic in the mouth

so the procedure is completely painless.

The results

The results are immediate and last up to 9 months.
